Synaqua pH Reducer Granules - 1.5 kg tin

Reduces critical pH values in the spa and swimming pool. The pH value of the spa should ideally be between 7.2 and 7.6. Values above 7.6 can be lowered with pH Minus Granules. pH Minus Granules should always be completely dissolved in a glass before adding.

Application

Use small doses at a time and allow time for the water to settle to pH before testing again. Large doses at once will cause the pH to fluctuate too much and lower the alkalinity.

   1. To lower the pH of 1500 liters of water by 0.1 ppm requires approximately 15 grams of pH Plus Granules.

   2. Fill a glass with water and dissolve the granules completely in it.

   3. Switch on the pumps.

   4. Pour the glass with the required amount of pH Minus into the center of the spa.

   5. Test the water again after about 10 minutes.

   6. Repeat steps 1 to 3 until the pH value is in the range 7.2 - 7.6 and the Total Alkalinity value is in the range
     80 - 120 ppm.

Tips

pH-Minus granules are strongly acidic. Therefore, be sure to dissolve before use to prevent granules from getting into pipes and pumps.

The first 3 to 4 weeks the water tends to have much too high pH values. Therefore it is better to use granules. Once the water has settled and is not rising as much, you should switch to Liquid Spa Down.

It is much easier to adjust the pH when using liquid pH reducer.
