The term "profiling" refers to the automated process of processing personal data for the purpose of analyzing individual characteristics or predicting future developments. This includes, for example, the investigation of personal interests, preferences, inclinations and habits or the prediction of potential behavior. Profiling can be used to obtain data about individual preferences in particular.

Organizational measures include guidelines for our employees, training, and regular checks. We also require our processors to take appropriate technical and organizational security precautions.

11. Duration of storage of personal data

We store and process your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations, legal requirements or the purposes for which it is processed. This means that we retain your data throughout our business relationship, from the initiation to the execution and termination of a contract. In addition, we comply with statutory retention and documentation obligations.

We may store your personal data even after the business relationship has ended, insofar as this is necessary to assert claims against our company (in particular during the statutory period of limitation) or if we are required to do so by law. Legitimate business interests, such as evidence and documentation purposes, may also require longer storage.

As soon as your personal data is no longer required for the aforementioned purposes, it is usually deleted or anonymized. For operational data such as system logs and logs, shorter retention periods of twelve months or less usually apply.

12. Your rights

You have the following rights with respect to personal data concerning you:

  • the right to information,
  • the right to rectification and deletion,
  • the right to restriction of processing,
  • the right to object to processing,
  • the right to data portability.

You are also free to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority if you have concerns about whether the processing of your personal data complies with the law. The competent supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
