Product information "Manual pool tester chlorine / pH from Bayrol"

The manual pool tester from Bayrol measures free chlorine and the pH value in the pool water. It is very easy to use and provides reliable measurement results.

Advantages

  • Easy to use
    The result is determined using a color scale and the discoloration of the measured water
  • Measures pH and free chlorine
    The shaker tester is supplied with 20 tablets for pH (Phenol Red) and 20 tablets for free chlorine (DPD 1).

Application

  • Fill the tester with pool water (the measuring water should be taken 20 cm below the water surface).
  • Measurement of pH value: Add one Phenol Red tablet to the left measuring chamber (pH).
  • Chlorine value measurement: Add a DPD1 tablet to the right measuring chamber (Cl)
    Important: The reagent tablets must not be touched with the fingers
  • Replace the lid and shake the pool tester until the tablets have completely dissolved.
  • Compare the discoloration of the sample water with the printed color scale to determine the measuring value.
  • Thoroughly rinse the pool tester after each use to avoid substance residues, which can lead to measurement errors.

Ideal measuring values: pH value 7.0 - 7.4 / Chlorine value 0.5 to 1 mg/l

Important: Protect the pool tester from sunlight and moisture. Store in a cool, dry place (storage temperature not above +30 °C) and out of the reach of children. Do not ingest tablets.
