Alkalinity / TA value - what does it mean?

With the Scuba II you can quickly and accurately control your pool water. The integrated measuring chamber is filled by immersing the device in the pool water. By adding a reagent tablet, a characteristic coloration is produced

pH-Minus lowers the pH of your spa water. For all water care products to work optimally, the pH should be between 7.0 and 7.6.

Alka-Plus increases the alkalinity (TA) of your spa water. Too low a TA can cause the pH to fluctuate greatly during adjustment, making it fluctuate greatly during adjustment, making adjustment difficult.
