Product information "Whirlpool Filter Master Spa Eco Pur Charge"
This cartridge takes EcoPur technology to the next level by rolling Master Spas' EcoPur material into the core of the injection-molded cartridge, and the new EcoPur cartridge has been standard in Master Spas since 2017.
This creates a catalytic cell that releases small amounts of copper and zinc ions into the water to prevent fungal and algae growth, control sedimentation and aid in wastewater disposal. The EcoPur Charge housing design allows for maximum water flow and recharging of water with ions. These cartridges last 6 months before needing to be replaced.
