Whirlpool filters from China - we advise against them!

More and more no-name filters are being offered on the Internet at ridiculously low prices. We strongly advise against this.

Here are some reasons why it makes sense to use a branded filter:

1. Efficiency and performance: brand name filters are designed to work more efficiently and provide better filtration. This means they are better at filtering out dirt, particles and contaminants, resulting in a cleaner and more hygienic water environment.
   
   
2. Fit: Branded filters are often made specifically for certain spa models or brands. This ensures that the filter fits perfectly in the filter holder and guarantees optimum water flow. A precisely fitting filter minimizes possible leaks and ensures that the water is filtered effectively.
   
   
3. Material quality: Branded filters are made from high-quality materials that can withstand the demands of a hot tub. These materials are often more durable and resistant to the demanding conditions of hot tub water such as heat, chemicals and pressure.
   
   
4. Long-term cost savings: Although branded filters are more expensive than generic alternatives, they can be more cost-effective in the long run. High-quality filters tend to last longer and provide more reliable performance, so they need to be replaced less often.
   
   
5. Warranty exclusion by the Whirlpool manufacturer: If cheap non-name filters are used, the Whirlpool manufacturer may exclude the warranty in the event of damage.

We therefore strongly recommend using a branded filter (e.g. Pleacto or Darlly). These filters are made of a very high-quality polyester material from the market leader Reemay. This means that they are resistant to bromine, chlorine, SpaBalancer and other disinfectants. They also do not tear or fray.

In addition, using a branded spa filter can help extend the life of the spa, improve water quality and minimize potential problems. For best results, it is important to follow the hot tub manufacturer's filter recommendations.

We recommend cleaning the filter regularly and replacing it once a year.
