Griffon PVC adhesive WDF-05 - 1 liter

WDF-05 is a blue, very fast drying, thixotropic PVC adhesive from Griffon.

The adhesive is used to join flexible pipes and rigid PVC pipes, joints and fittings with interference fit and loose fit (gap-filling) in pressure and drainage systems. It is also very suitable for whirlpools, swimming pools and other wet environments.

Suitable for diameters up to 160 mm. Maximum 16 bar (PN 16). Maximum tolerance 0.8mm diameter fit (flexible pipes maximum 0.3 mm) / 0.2 mm interference fit. Suitable for pipe systems complying with EN1329, 1452, 1453, 1455 and ISO15493 (PVC).
Temperature resistant up to 60°C, short-term up to 95°C possible.

The adhesive is available in three different sizes (250 ml, 500 ml, 1 liter) and has a brush attached to the lid.

Do not use at temperatures < or = +5°C.

Processing
Saw off pipes in a straight line. Grind and bevel edges. Clean bonding surfaces with Griffon Cleaner and cleaning cloths. Apply adhesive quickly and evenly (4-6x) to both bonding surfaces (thick for pipes, thin for fits). Press parts together immediately. Remove excess adhesive. Do not mechanically stress the joint for the first 10 minutes. Carefully close the adhesive packaging immediately after use.

Please note that the brush size varies depending on the packaging volume. Please use the appropriate packaging (brush size) for the diameter to be glued.

Stains or residues can be removed with Griffon Cleaner and cleaning cloths.
